The Lean Breakfast Smoothie

Starting your day with a  smoothie is brilliant as, not only does it gently wake up your digestive system, but also green smoothies  provide you with loads of healthy vitamins and minerals to give your body everything it needs for a good start to the day.


This is probably my all time favourite simple smoothie, I’d choose it over a berry smoothie any day! It is refreshing and cool from the ice, sweet and creamy from the banana and honey, with some added protein from the greek yoghurt. Bioglan Superfoods Green Boost powder along with the spinach is one of my absolute favourites to help detox and provide your body with tonnes of healthy micronutrients in the morning – it’s taste free in the smoothie so you won’t even know its there. I notice a big difference in how lean I feel when I include this is my breakfast most days per week.

BLEND: 1 banana, 4/5 ice cubes, 1 large table spoon of greek yoghurt, 1 tsp honey, 2 large handfuls spinach and 2 to 3 teaspoons of Bioglan Green Boost or your favourite green superfood powder.

I really can’t recommend smoothies for breakfast enough if you want to feel super lean and energetic for the day – give them a go and feel the difference! What’s your go-to breakfast?
