I am always on the hunt for a really good, light feeling but medium coverage BB cream that is actually healthy for my skin. As it’s coming up to summer, a light weight coverage is ideal as you don’t want your skin to feel masked in the heat.  There are so many different BB creams on the market, but the one I’m sharing today is the Ginerva Nude Cover BB Cream*, currently available in 40ml for £24.95 here! For the price, this is definitely a high-end beauty product.

Ginerva is a skincare company that was established in Singapore and they are known for utilising nourishing, good-for-your-skin ingredients. This BB cream is enriched with green tea and also contains Ginseng, Chinese Angelica and Hyaluronic Acid; all super nourishing ingredients. It claims to give the benefits of blemish free concealing, sun block effects with SPF30, moisturising and reduction of lines.

They recommend to apply it after daily facial care. Simply squeeze an adequate amount onto your finger and tap gently onto your skin for even coverage.  IMG_5654

Although it doesn’t give much coverage, it gives your skin an all over healthy glow and evens out your skintone, much like the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid does. It feels very lightweight on your skin and a little goes a log way. I love how easy it is to apply, it feels lovely on the skin and does make your skin look a whole lot better. You could apply concealer over the top on any blemishes to create flawless, dewy skin. This BB cream only comes in one shade so it will not suit everyone. It is perfect for my skin tone as I have olive undertones but will probably be too dark if you have pale skin and pink undertones or if you have very dark skin it will be too light.

The packaging of this is absolutely gorgeous. The outer box is transparent with a shimmer to it and contains all the information you need. The tube contains 25ml which is only a little less that your average foundation or BB cream but a good amount, and your paying an average of £1 per 1ml. The packaging is simple but practical and light weight, which is ideal for your makeup bag.

What are your favourite BB Creams?

Never heard of this brand. This looks really nice! Although I think the shade would be too deep for my skin tone. Too bad!
My favourite BB cream is from Charmzone, a Korean brand, here’s my post about it:
